About The Center for Infonomics
The Center for Infonomics was formed by information management thought-leader, author and practitioner Doug Laney to foster and expand the notion that information itself if a critical, manageable and measurable business asset. We recognize that while an increasing number of organizations consider information as an invaluable fuel for business performance and business relationships, that neither accounting nor asset management principles and practices have kept pace. As a result, many enterprises under-value and under-utilize the vast wealth of information available to them.
The Center for Infonomics is a platform for discussing, sharing ideas and experiences about the notion of information asset management and quantifying information asset value.
